Auto-log investor email

Last updated: September 21, 2026 · Asea Capital Group LLC

Your Investor CRM can log investor email automatically, so you never have to copy and paste a conversation into a record. Every logged email updates that investor's last-contact date in your pipeline.

Your capture address

When you set up your data room, RaiseNova creates a capture address for you. It looks like yourslug@raisenova.com, where "yourslug" is your data room's name. You can see and copy it at the top of the Investor CRM.

How to use it

The simplest way: BCC. When you email an investor, add your capture address to the BCC field. That copy comes to RaiseNova, we match it to the investor in your pipeline, and the email is logged. Your investor never sees the capture address.

Forwarding. You can also forward an investor's email to your capture address. Note that a manual forward works reliably only when the investor's email address still shows in the message header; if it appears only inside the forwarded body, we may not be able to match it. BCC on your own outgoing mail is the most dependable method.

What gets logged

For each matched email we record the direction (whether you sent it or the investor did), the subject line, the counterpart's email address, and the date. We do not store the message body.

What does not get logged

We only log email that involves an investor already in your pipeline, matched by their email address. Mail to your capture address from anyone who is not one of your investors is ignored and nothing is stored. Add the investor to your CRM first (with their email) so their correspondence can match.

Privacy

Your capture address and everything logged through it are private to your account. Nothing is shared with other founders or with your investors, and ACG never contacts your investors on your behalf. RaiseNova helps you stay organized; it never solicits, introduces, or raises for you.

Sending from the address

Today the capture address is for logging incoming and BCC'd mail only. Replying or sending as the address is not available yet.
